We - future leaders - want social, inclusive and responsible education at the EUR now *mobile? scroll down for full petition*

Erasmus University Rotterdam

Do you want to live in a sustainable, prosperous and healthy world? We guess yes. So keep on reading. Erasmus University educates the future leaders of the world (yes that’s you). You could potentially make a huge positive impact. It would be good that after graduating you know and feel you can. We from Education in Transition (a student-led group) believe that could be a reality if a few things change in the curricula of ALL studies.

How? Integrating sustainability and long-term values as core concepts. The curricula should allow us to adopt a different worldview; one that is linked to the international societal, ecological, and economic challenges that we face. We should be trained in higher-level critical and creative problem solving skills which are needed to address complex issues to ensure a sustainable future. We think the Sustainable Development Goals by the UN could be a guideline. We need social inclusive and responsible education.

We need you! Currently we are working with the university and program directors to integrate this in the new EUR strategy of 2024, but we need some more student pressure to put this high on the agenda!

So. If you agree with this, please sign this petition so we can show the leaders of this university what the leaders of the future want!
