End the DCCC Blacklist!
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee
Democrats need to send our best candidates into every 2020 race to defeat Republicans and rebuild our country after Trump and Mitch McConnell’s authoritarian wonderland. We can’t do that if the DCCC freezes out progressive talent.
In 2018, young voters powered Democrats to historic congressional victories. And their increased participation in 2019 and 2020 will be critical as we seek to strengthen our majority in the U.S. House and win back the Senate and White House.
So why is the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee alienating the future of the Party? The DCCC’s new policy ― blacklisting consultants who work for Democratic primary challengers ― is “extremely divisive and harmful to the party,” according to freshman Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), because “primaries are often the only way that underrepresented and working-class people are able to have a shot at pursuing elected office.”
ADD YOUR NAME: The DCCC Blacklist is an unforced strategic error that divides the party at a time when we can least afford it. The blacklist should be ended NOW!

The DCCC’s boycott of primary candidates is bad for the party, and should end. To beat Trump and his enablers in Congress in 2020, we need the best candidates in every race, and we need to be using every ounce of talent we have.
