Women's rights have been suddenly taken away by the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. We need to help Congress create a pathway to codifying Roe v. Wade. Without Roe v. Wade, women cannot have abortions for any reason including to protect their healthcare. Women have lost the right to bodily autonomy and the right to privacy.
In order to codify Roe v. Wade, Democrats need to elect at least two more Senators. But, then most importantly, Democrats must create rules in the Senate that will end the filibuster for this fundamental right to bodily autonomy.
Please add your signature to demand that President Biden support ending the filibuster in the Senate. The filibuster is allowing the minority party to rule the nation. End the filibuster now!

Dear President Biden,
The Supreme Court decision reversing Roe V. Wade has taken away the most fundamental rights of American women. Women in the USA now have fewer rights than a fertilized embryo. Given the drastic loss of women's fundamental rights (right to privacy, right to bodily autonomy, and right to make healthcare decisions), a drastic plan must be put in place to help American women gain back their rights.
Essentially, we must codify Roe V. Wade as a federal regulation. To do that we need to elect at least two more Democratic senators to make the contrary votes of Manchin and Sinema irrelevant. Then we need to normalize getting rid of the filibuster so that Democrats can pass legislation with 51 votes. Republicans have been using this tactic for all issues that are important to them. We must play hardball and follow suit. The filibuster was introduced in the age of Jim Crowe to pass racist legislation. We owe it to women and all marginalized citizens to abandon the filibuster to allow the passage of meaningful legislation to provide gun safety, equal protection under the law, and environmental and clean energy measures.
Currently, the minority has been able to make the rules and prevent the passage of rules favored by the majority. Democrats currently hold the Presidency, the Senate, and the House. However, we are being ruled by the Republicans. This ability is largely made possible by adhering to the antiquated, racist filibuster rule.
We are a majority nation ruled by the minority!
