#FueraRocha - Demand LULAC National President Roger C. Rocha Jr. Resign Now!

Roger C. Rocha Jr., National President, LULAC

In a recent letter to President 45, LULAC National President Roger C. Rocha, Jr. commended the president for his "reasonable framework on immigration reform and border security," and you know what we say to that #FueraRocha

We cannot say how disappointed we are in the leadership of LULAC right now. The current administration's rhetoric towards undocumented people in this country is nothing short of vile. For the leadership of one of the nation's largest and oldest Latinx organizations to endorse the separation of families and increased board enforcement makes it clear that they are in desperate need of new leadership.

LGBTQ people make up part of the integral fabric of the Latinx community. We will not sit by and let LULAC betray our communities by cosigning and upholding the leadership of a president who has built his platform off of fear mongering and scapegoating immigrants in this country, all the while separating families at every turn.

That is why we are calling for the immediate resignation LULAC National President Roger C. Rocha, Jr. Resign Now!!!

I cannot say how disappointed I am in the leadership of LULAC right now.

I am asking for the immediate resignation of LULAC National President Roger C. Rocha, Jr.
