Gov. Greitens, enough is enough!

“God’s people came out [this election]. It was awesome. Catholics, Protestants, the Ku Klux Klan – everyone came out for the babies.” - Bridget Van Means, President of Thrive Express Women's Healthcare.
It’s disturbing that a crisis pregnancy center (CPC) like Thrive welcomes the Ku Klux Klan to the anti-abortion cause. But there’s more to be worried about.
Our state government funds organizations like Thrive by dishing out tax credits and diverting federal TANF funds (designated to feed hungry children) to CPCs instead. Our tax dollars are literally used to lie to women about abortion, and spread more lies and discrimination in St. Louis area public schools. This is unacceptable.
Our hard-earned tax dollars should be going toward programs that alleviating poverty and feed hungry children, and not to support Thrive who teaches their extremist ideology in St. Louis area public schools and systematically lies to women seeking abortion care.
Enough is enough.
Demand Gov. Greitens launch an investigation into the use of state dollars to fund CPCs that lie to women about abortion, and spread more lies and discrimination in St. Louis area public schools.
Act now.

I am offended by remarks made by the president of Thrive Express Women's Healthcare, Bridget Van Means, welcoming support from the Ku Klux Klan. I am outraged that Thrive receives state support, and I am horrified that a center led by someone who welcomes the KKK is running sex education programs in St. Louis area public schools.

Gov. Greitens, I call on you to launch an investigation into the use of state dollars to fund CPCs that lie to women about abortion, and spread more lies and discrimination in St. Louis area public schools.
