In Oregon, we’re lucky. Our state is only one of five across the country where all working people have access to paid family leave.

Across the country, 9 out of 10 people still have no paid family leave. When they get sick, they often have no option but to go to work. If a family member gets sick, they have to take a day off without pay.

The FAMILY Act would fix this problem. Congress has introduced this bill, providing working people with 12 weeks of paid family leave and changing so many lives for the better.
