I support Northeastern University dining hall workers!

President Joseph E. Aoun

While Northeastern University has plenty of resources, many of us would go hungry without the help of public assistance. Many of us rely on low-income housing, food assistance, Mass Health and child care subsidies just to get by.

Even though we work on a campus with hundreds of millions of dollars, many of us qualify for and use Mass Health. It's a strain on our families, and the economy.

We are not the only families in Boston facing a crisis of economic inequality. Instead of being part of the problem, we are asking Northeastern to be part of the solution.

That's why we're demanding $35,000 a year for full-time work and affordable health care. As leaders of the Northeastern community, we believe that we can make a huge difference. We only need you to join us.

I stand with the hundreds of workers who feed and serve the Northeastern community. Many Northeastern dining hall workers rely on public assistance and government health care to make ends meet. We are asking Northeastern to be part of the solution to this crisis.

Support the Northeastern dining hall workers in their demands for $35,000 a year and affordable health care. Together, we can make this campus better for everyone that makes Northeastern University thrive.
