I Support Oakland Museum of California Workers United!
Lori Fogarty, Executive Director, Oakland Museum of California
Oakland Museum of California workers need your help! We are asking management to respect our voice and our choice to come together to form our Union! We are well above majority support and are asking management to voluntarily recognize our Union, so we can get to the bargaining table together faster. We are also asking management to not engage in any retaliatory behavior or engage in anti-union campaign tactics that we have seen at museums around the country. Add your name to tell management that you stand with OMCA Workers United!

Dear Oakland Museum of California Board of Trustees and Leadership,
As members of the community, we stand with and support the employees who are organizing their union, Oakland Museum of California Workers United.
We believe in every worker's legal right to organize their union, without fear of retaliation, intimidation, or interference from management. Creating a safe, respectful and equitable environment in which workers can speak freely and flourish is essential to the mission of the Oakland Museum of California.
OMCA is an active community center and the cultural heart of Oakland, which would not be possible without the labor of the workers who make the museum run. We strongly believe in OMCA's mission to embrace diversity and inclusivity as the Museum of the People, and believe that when workers have a voice on the job, they lay the foundation for a more equitable institution.
We call on OMCA’s administration to voluntarily recognize their union, and remain neutral as these workers organize their union.
