Tell Chad Wolf and ICE: Release and Reunite Families

Department of Homeland Security Acting Secretary Chad Wolf, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Matthew Albence.

Add your name to join our urgent demand to acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf that ICE stop separating families. It's time to release everyone and reunite all families immediately.

News of immigration officials tearing children away from families shocked the nation in 2018. Now, in the midst of a pandemic, ICE is at it again.

On May 14, 2020, ICE tried to force dozens of mothers into agreeing to be separated from their own children. Moms were told to sign forms that would give up their rights to their babies, and denied a chance to talk to their lawyers. ICE used intimidation and lies to try and get their way.

While tens of thousands of people die from Covid-19 across the country, our government is trying to separate toddlers from their mothers. Separating and caging families do not reflect our values, and doing so under these circumstances is incredibly dangerous for public health.

We know ICE won't do what's right without immense public pressure. It's up to all of us to speak out together and demand acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf release and reunite all families immediately.

Sign now to help reunite families and hold Chad Wolf and ICE accountable.

The dramatic spread of COVID-19 through ICE detention centers is extremely alarming, and the numerous reports of sanitation shortages and inappropriate treatment by guards is outrageous.

ICE's attempts to separate families during this pandemic makes matters even worse. It is clear that ICE is not acting in the interest of public health or our values.

We demand ICE release everyone and reunite all families. We will not stand for the continued separation of families or more deaths in detention.
