James Calvert Spence College needs funding NOW!
Northumberland County Council
In February 2017 the Labour Administration announced the work it had been doing with school leaders at James Calvert Spence College, at that point Northumberland County Council had hired in external help who had been working on the project for a year.
In July of 2017 the Conservative administration announced the project was halted. It then proceeded to include the school in capital works budgets and additional announcements, however four years later nothing has been done. The project has been pushed back again and again with no information shared with local people as to why other than COVID.
This Conservative administration have no commitment to Amble and continue to move the dates of this school around to suit political needs. This new build would have been open and although not at the present time children would have been experiencing these fantastic new facilities for well over a term.

The Conservatives in Amble said electing them wouldn't stop investment, they said they would also "stop the march of the developer" yet over 2000 new homes approved for Amble and the schools investment cancelled or what they would call "postponed" again so they can tell people they still plan to do it.
Back our call to give Amble the investment it needs immediately.
