Unbelievable, shameful news: the GOP officially declared the January 6th insurrection “legitimate political discourse”.

Let’s be clear: the happenings of January 6th were not legitimate political discourse. It was, however, a fatal riot and an attempted coup bringing insurmountable shame on our entire country, with the rest of the world watching in disbelief.

Nine people died, and more than 150 officers were injured — yet the RNC passed this resolution without so much as a discussion, let alone dissent.

Sign our petition to let the GOP know that we will not blindly accept this resolution.

The RNC's resolution is absolutely shameful. A deadly insurrection is not legitimate political discourse. This sort of “demonstration” is so far out of the realm of normalcy, yet your party refuses to take responsibility and acknowledge the ways they have stained the very fabric of our Democracy.
