JB Pritzker is the Democratic nominee for Illinois governor. So why is the hotel chain owned by his family opening its doors to America's largest anti-Muslim hate group? Pritzker's family founded Hyatt Hotels and his cousin is still the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. Another cousin is also on the Hyatt board. Yet on September 4-5, the Hyatt Regency Crystal City will host ACT for America's National Conference in Arlington, Virginia.

ACT for America, which the Southern Poverty Law Center lists as a hate group, has pushed anti-Muslim legislation at the state and federal levels. Last year, the group organized "March Against Sharia" rallies in several cities, which attracted Neo-Nazis and white supremacists. The group's founder, Brigitte Gabriel, has called Muslims "a natural threat to civilized people of the world, particularly Western society."
Instead of standing up to this vitriolic anti-Muslim hate, Hyatt and the Pritzkers are trying to lure white supremacists and Neo-Nazis to their hotel with discounted rooms. Last year, Hilton canceled an anti-immigration conference that was planned by a white supremacist group in Arizona. When the Unite the Right 2 rally come to Washington, DC this summer, many local businesses publicly declared that white supremacists and Neo-Nazis were not welcome. So why are Hyatt and the Pritzkers refusing to cancel this conference?
If JB Pritzker wants to lead "the Resistance" in Illinois, then he needs to start by telling his cousins on the Hyatt board to cancel this conference. If he can't convince his family members not to take money from Neo-Nazis, then how will he lead Illinois? If he can't stand up to his own family, then how is he going to stand up to Trump? #JBGetYourCousins
