Justice for Stryker workers
Stryker Corporate Management
Despite workers raising major concerns over many health and safety incidents and worker site evacuations, Stryker management has refused to give workers an outline of the written investigation reports relating to health and safety incidents such as the evacuation on 25th May 2019.
Stryker is a major global “healthcare” corporation and its workers deserve to be treated with more respect and dignity by management. Stryker must be compliant with the duty of care health and safety provisions under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
We call on Stryker senior management to intervene urgently to ensure the following actions:
1. To compel local management to comprehensively outline to workers the specific written findings of all recent health and safety investigations without any further delay.
2. To take urgent remedial steps to make the Tullagreen and Springhill sites 100% safe.
3. To give clear and written commitments to all workers working in the Tullagreen and Springhill sites in Cork that their health and safety concerns will be followed up and addressed.
