The farm economy is in need of attention. We are in the fourth year of a greater than 50% decline in farm incomes. This tears at the fabric of rural America, and the infrastructure that is critical for meeting the needs of a growing world population.

Section 199A of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) has provided a very real and meaningful glimmer of hope. It restores power and puts real capital in the hands of farm families to weather income shortfalls, and build for the future by promoting U.S. productivity and exports of U.S. products. There could be no better policy for stimulating growth and investment in rural America.
