Tom Moseley is a Minneapolis-based activist who has long been involved with the fight against police brutality across the United States. Prior to moving to Minneapolis in 2020, he has connected more than 400 families who have lost siblings, spouses, and children to police violence.

In 2020, he joined the thousands of people who protested against the racist murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis Police. He joined the protest while putting aside many of his own personal struggles, inspired by the fight for Black lives.

Tom is compassionate, caring, and deeply concerned about injustice. We, the signers of this petition, know Tom as someone who is critically important to his community, and do not want to see him removed by incarceration. He is someone who has made a positive impact on many people in Minneapolis and throughout the United States who he has connected with through his work to support victims of police violence and their families.

We are sharing our personal stories prior to his sentencing to attest that Tom should not be removed from his community and at minimum be given probation for the charges he has already plead guilty to.

We ask that the Judge consider these stories upon Tom's sentencing on January 5th.
