As front-line direct service providers and supervisors of Mental Health services in Los Angeles, we support the creation of a Health Agency to help improve service delivery to the clients, families and communities I serve by:

Eliminating redundancies in intake processes across departments, increasing my ability to address my clients' needs more comprehensively with a Person-In-Environment approach consistent with core Social Work values, and using our collective experiences and ideas to remove unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles to great care.

My union, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, will be proud to be a partner in making all of this happen.
