LEADERS SHOW UP
Wisconsin Lawmakers
Wisconsin veterans know what it means to take an oath. And we know what it means to lead. Sadly, we see lawmakers in Madison refusing to uphold the oaths they took to represent their constituents, and ignoring the pleas from all communities across the state to address police brutality. That's why we're calling for the Wisconsin legislature to pass meaningful police reform legislation when it meets this week.
For two months, we have waited for lawmakers to take up measures to increase accountability and transparency in policing. And for two months, legislators have refused. In fact, it's been more than 135 days since the legislature has even met.
Leaders show up. They don't hide from important debates because they're hard. They don't ignore important issues because they're inconvenient.
Lawmakers need to hear from their constituents. Send a message to state lawmakers to demand police reform in Wisconsin.

Dear lawmaker,
As your constituent, I am outraged that legislation addressing police accountability and transparency has not been addressed- despite being introduced two months ago.
I am writing to request you support meaningful police reform.
Communities across the state have said, "Enough is enough." Just last week, another Wisconsin community was rocked by the actions of police shooting an unarmed Black man. Nevertheless, the legislature has not met for more than 135 days.
Wisconsin is waiting on legislators to do their jobs. I hope you will do yours.
