Representative Michael McCaul,

Our group, TX10 Indivisible is comprised of thousands of your constituents. We are very concerned about the immigration crisis at the border. We would like to ask you to do the following:

1) Please provide a public response to the following question: “President Trump’s recent executive order does not provide any plans for reuniting families that were separated under the recent zero tolerance policy. What is the plan for reuniting children who were separated under the policy?”
2) Please vote "no" on any bill that allows indefinite detention of families and children or restricts access to asylum. This includes both the Goodlatte Bill and the Paul Ryan Proposal. Both bills seriously harm immigrants and prevent families from unifying.
3) As chairman of the House Committee on Homeland security with responsibility for oversight of ICE, hold bipartisan hearings on immigration reform where a broad spectrum of voices can testify and substantive immigration reform can begin to be addressed.
4) As the descendant of immigrants, join us in calling on the U.S. Department of Justice to welcome immigrant families seeking refuge, and end this practice of criminal prosecution and family separation.

We invite you to engage face to face with our group at any time. We are ready to work with your staff to make this happen and can provide any logistical support necessary.

Thank you,

Randy Wilson
