London's renters need support

The Prime Minister and the Mayor of London

Many renters have lost their jobs in the pandemic and one in five are struggling to pay their rent or already in arrears.

That’s why Sian Berry, a private renter herself, is calling on the Government and Mayor to protect every renter this winter.

Sian is calling for:

A ban on evicting renters
Rent freezes
An increase in benefits to cover rents
Rent forgiveness for those in debt
