Medicare For All
Senator John Cornyn
Insurance industry expenses and profit are 20% of the costs we pay in premiums.
Medicare expenses are 3% of costs.
We can have better health care for more people at a lower cost if we remove insurance companies from the system.
To support BCRA, or even ACA, is to say that the financial health of insurance companies is more important than the physical health of our fellow Americans.
We, the signers of this petition, say that people are more important than profits and therefore, we demand Medicare for All.
Senator Cornyn, we ask that you “repeal & replace” the ACA with H.R. 676 — 115th Congress: Expanded & Improved Medicare For All Act, or similar legislation that expands Medicare to cover all citizens.
(Note: thanks to the internet, you can find lots of different figures on what the “true” costs of Medicare are vs private insurance. The details can be argued. What can’t be argued is that private insurance has costs Medicare does not--sales, marketing, huge executive salaries & bonuses, and profits to the shareholders.)

Senator Cornyn,
I ask that you “repeal & replace” the ACA with H.R. 676 — 115th Congress: Expanded & Improved Medicare For All Act, or similar legislation that expands Medicare to cover all citizens. Americans shouldn't pay more and get less healthcare than modern nations.
