On March 1, 2023, the Southwest Ohio Legal Aid Brigade (Legal Aid Society of Southwest Ohio's employee union), took a big step and delivered a letter to management,  asking them to voluntarily recognize our staff union. After nearly a month of no concrete response, the administration has retained a notorious union-busting law firm and is attempting to exclude a large number of our coworkers through union-busting legal maneuvers, which will severely weaken our collective power.

Nonetheless, we persist - but our journey to being legally recognized as a union and starting to make improvements at our work will include winning a union election. We urge The Legal Aid Society of Southwest Ohio administration to remain neutral and let us vote in our union election free of intimidation and fear.

Join us! Please sign this petition and demand that management remains neutral, stop their current union busting, and let employees make their own choice. We deserve a fair election free and clear of intimidation and fear.  Every worker has a right to unionize, and there is no place for union-busting tactics.

Please sign the petition and check out this video of Cincinnati Mayor Aftab supporting employees and their right to form unions and make their own decisions.
