No Votes for Genocide. No Peace No Peach.
Vice President Kamala Harris
We, the undersigned Georgia voters, will withhold our votes from the Harris-Walz ticket in November unless, by Thursday, October 10, the Biden-Harris administration:
Halts all arms shipments to Israel;
Publicly demand the adoption of a permanent ceasefire deal in Gaza and the West Bank without further negotiation delays; and
Pledges to uphold U.S. law by imposing an arms embargo on nations engaged in war crimes, including Israel.
Conversely, if you comply with all three demands by the deadline, we will vote for the Harris-Walz ticket.
Voters, including here in Georgia, have repeatedly demanded an arms embargo and permanent ceasefire from the Biden-Harris administration. Polling shows 77% percent of Democrats, and 61% of all Americans oppose weapons aid for Israel’s assault on Gaza and the West Bank. VP Harris, CNN polls show that you and former president Trump are tied in swing states, including Georgia.
At the Democratic National Convention (DNC), Democratic and Uncommitted delegates also called on you to commit to a ceasefire and arms embargo. In response, your campaign explicitly rejected the arms embargo and refused to allow Palestinian-American speakers to take the stage.
VP Harris, as you are aware, weapons transfers to Israel currently violate both U.S and international laws.
We are Georgia voters who oppose Donald Trump and his bigotry, and have a desire to fight far-right fascism at home and abroad. At the same time, we will not tolerate the funding and enabling of a genocide. In the words of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
No Peace, No Peach.
