No Wall Street Giveaways in the Lame Duck

U.S. Congress

No matter who wins or loses this election, Wall Street is going to try and use the lame duck session after the election to cram a whole host of big bank giveaways onto the year-end spending bill. They did it successfully in 2014, they tried again in 2015, and they’ll try again this year. And if the election doesn’t turn out the way they want, they will be especially focused on the year-end funding bill as a chance to jam through their wish list.

Join us to tell Congress: Don’t let Wall Street take the Budget hostage. No Wall Street giveaways on the year-end spending bill!

Dear Members of Congress:

We are counting on you to oppose all efforts to use the government funding process to loosen the rules for Wall Street and the financial industry. It’s time to move forward, not backward, on financial reform.
