Oppose inhumane and Unconstitutional ICE practices

With the successful defeat of Trumpcare the wind is at our back and it is time to take that same approach towards immigration, specificially ICE. We need to let them know their inhumane treatment of undocumented people is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. The government ia clearly not going to hold them accountable, so that task now falls on us. We must protect and stand up for the basic and human rights of all immigrants regardless of legal status.

Since Trump was elected into office, there has been an unsettling amount of ICE raids in Hispanic communities around the country, and detentions of undocumented individuals who pose no threat to the community. Many of these people have no criminal records whatsoever. Their only "crime" is simply being undocumented.
Your agency has also repeatedly put out fake news, false and misleading statements about "immigrant crime", painted sanctuary and welcoming cities as "endangering the community by refusing to cooperate in detaining dangerous criminal illegals", and have shown callous, inhuman mistreatment of undocumented migrants and immigrants overall.
These predatory actions only serve to terrorize the immigrant community and punish those agencies and cities who ICE feels is not complying with their agenda.
You aren't deporting criminals you are destroying lives, ripping apart families, inciting fear, and putting a target on the backs of immigrants already facing prejudice and discrimination.
I urge you to act in ways that protect ALL community members and respects the basic and human rights of all immigrants, documented and undocumented.
