PeaceHealth Sacred Heart: Don't Break Your Contract With Respiratory Therapists!

Todd Salnas, Interim COO PeaceHealth Sacred Heart/Springfield

OFNHP Respiratory Therapists at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart provide life saving care to patients every day! Despite this, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart is refusing to follow the reorg provisions of our collective bargaining agreement, which they agreed to and are bound by.

Don’t Let PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Break Our Contract on the Reorg!

We demand PeaceHealth Sacred Heart follow the already codified reorg language in our contract, and halt the ongoing attempts to circumvent those processes in our collective bargaining agreement.

Respiratory therapists negotiated in good faith with PeaceHealth Sacred Heart, and our signed contract is legally binding.

The mission statement of the larger PeaceHealth system stresses commitment to patient care, progressive values, and respect. Its mission statement values specifically cite “collaboration” “respect” and “social justice.” None of these values are upheld when the union negotiated collective bargaining agreement for essential workers is steamrolled by management, and the community is not served by attacks on essential workers amidst ongoing crisis and trauma to caregivers. We demand you immediately intervene and ensure that management at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart honor the collective bargaining agreement they signed, and follow the reorg processes as outlined in our contract.
