Petition for meaningful social dialogue
Workers unions in the Czech Republic can provide a necessary avenue for social dialogue with the employer. Unions are often one of the only tools that allow employees to have a say in their work and working conditions. Unfortunately, in the sector of information and communication technology (the ICT sector), we sometimes encounter intimidation and lack of cooperation.
We, the workers of the ICT sector, have the right to form workers unions, establish social dialogue, and enter collective bargaining with our employers, in other words - change our working conditions for the better.
Therefore, we are asking for employers to commit to meaningful social dialogue and regular communication with the workers union. We want to employer to respect us and our rights.
We believe that through workers union on sectoral level and in the workplaces, we can together move the ICT sector towards better working conditions.
Once we reach 1,000 signatures, we will send the demands to the government, ABSL (Association of Business Service Leaders) and large IT companies that set the market conditions.

V České republice jsou odbory důležitým nástrojem na cestě k sociálnímu dialogu. Odbory jsou často jedním z mála způsobů, jak se zaměstnanci a zaměstnankyně mohou vyjádřit se ke své práci a pracovním podmínkám. Bohužel v sektoru informačních a komunikačních technologií (ICT sektoru) se někdy setkáváme se zastrašováním a nedostatkem spolupráce ze strany zaměstnavatelů.
My, zaměstnanci A ZAMĚSTNANKYNĚ sektoru ICT, máme právo zakládat odbory, navazovat sociální dialog a vstupovat do kolektivního vyjednávání se zaměstnavateli, jinými slovy – měnit své pracovní podmínky k lepšímu.
Proto žádáme zaměstnavatele, aby se zavázali ke smysluplnému sociálnímu dialogu a pravidelné komunikaci s odbory. Chceme, aby zaměstnavatel respektoval nás a naše práva.
Věříme, že prostřednictvím odborů zaměstnanců na sektorové úrovni a na pracovištích můžeme společně posunout ICT sektor k lepším pracovním podmínkám.
Jakmile dosáhneme 1 000 podpisů, zašleme požadavky vládě, ABSL (Association of Business Service Leaders) a velkým IT společnostem, které určují podmínky na trhu.

WE, THE WORKERS OF THE ICT SECTOR, HAVE THE RIGHT TO FORM WORKERS UNIONS, ESTABLISH SOCIAL DIALOGUE, AND ENTER COLLECTIVE BARGAINING WITH OUR EMPLOYERS, IN OTHER WORDS - CHANGE OUR WORKING CONDITIONS FOR THE BETTER.
