The man appointed FDA Commissioner as of December 2019 has serially endangered public health and safety by issuing an emergency use authorization for hydroxychloroquine in March 2020 and making unsupported claims about convalescent plasma on August 23, 2020.*

We are a group of physicians who agree with Dr. Eric Topol that within less than a year's time, you have endangered public health and safety by issuing an emergency use authorization for hydroxychloroquine in March 2020 (only to revoke it in June) and making unsupported claims about convalescent plasma on August 23, 2020. We all make mistakes. Yours was to forsake your commitment to advancing accurate, scientific-based information to a political agenda. We demand your resignation.
