Pitt: don’t force library workers to work during COVID-19 pandemic!

The Pitt Faculty Organizing Committee, standing in solidarity with all affected staff and workers, demands that the University of Pittsburgh close its libraries immediately and throughout the duration of the COVID-19 crisis. Although Pitt has agreed that some staff should be able to stay home, as of Saturday, it is still requiring some staff to report to Hillman Library and the warehouse.
We demand that workers be paid.
