Please Allow World BEYOND War to Receive Funds

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

World BEYOND War is currently unable to receive funds from certain foundations, through Paypal, or through Facebook, or to register as a charity in various listings or with the United Nations because of the failure of the IRS (the tax-collecting agency of the U.S. government) to do a simple task.

Since October 6, 2021, World BEYOND War has been writing and phoning the IRS, pleading with it, but with no result yet. The IRS is probably understaffed and overworked. Its budget is roughly 1% what the U.S. government puts into militarism. We sympathize, but need to be able to raise funds. On September 14, 2021, World BEYOND War acquired independent status as a 501c3 nonprofit organization via a transfer from the organization "Peaceworkers," after fulfilling all the IRS requirements for the transfer. Since that time, World BEYOND War has been unable to accept donations from various sources such as Paypal because the name of the organization attached to the EIN (23-7217029) has not been amended by the IRS from "Peaceworkers" to "World BEYOND War."

Since October 6, 2021, World BEYOND War staff have been writing and phoning you, asking you to make its EIN (23-7217029) match its name (World BEYOND War). World BEYOND War has repeatedly provided you with the Certificate of Amendment from the District of Columbia government showing that its name change was approved to be World BEYOND War, including a copy of the amended articles of incorporation. You have provided no explanation for the lengthy delay, only estimates of a time of completion that have come and gone. Please, please, please, make our number match our name so that we can get on with our work.
