Together we call on Walmart and the Walton Family to meet our unified demands.

  • Walmart and the Waltons must create good jobs to rebuild the middle class. We demand they provide minimum pay for all Walmart associates and workers in Walmart’s U.S. distribution chain of $25,000 a year, accounting for both pay and hours. This base pay level won’t make anyone rich, but for a company that pays its workers an average of $8.81 an hour, consistently discriminates against women and people of color and pushes more and more workers into part-time work, this will be a big step toward economic security for millions of families.

  • Walmart and the Waltons must keep our families and communities healthy. We demand they guarantee quality, affordable health coverage for Walmart associates and workers in Walmart’s U.S. distribution chain. At a time when millions of Americans are worried about the security and affordability of their families’ health care, Walmart must end its practice of pushing health costs onto taxpayers and Associates and other workers living paycheck to paycheck.

  • Walmart and the Waltons must strengthen communities, protect the environment and ensure the well-being of Associates and workers throughout its U.S. supply and distribution chain. Instead of empty promises and PR campaigns, we demand that Walmart sign a national community benefits agreement that guarantees when Walmart expands, it will strengthen – not undermine -- our communities.<br>

  • Walmart and the Waltons must respect the fundamental human rights of Associates in the US, Canada and throughout the world and workers in its supply and distribution chain. It is time for Walmart to end decades of obstruction of workers’ rights.

  • Walmart and the Waltons must demand fair working conditions throughout its global supply and distribution chain the same way it demands low costs from its suppliers. We demand they sign a legally binding global responsible contractor policy that guarantees that contractors and subcontractors provide living wages and worker safety protections, respect basic human and labor rights, including freedom of association and freedom from racial and gender discrimination. By protecting labor standards worldwide, Walmart can use its power to improve living standards for millions of workers in the U.S., Canada and abroad.

Please stand with OUR Walmart, WWJ and CNF to build a Walmart that meets the needs of the 99%!
