Petition: Stand with workers unionizing at Potomac Holistics!

Bill Askinazi, Owner, Potomac Holistics

Potomac Holistics is unionizing! We are a collective of budtenders fighting for: livable wages, paid time off, job security, and a voice in our workplace.

Despite the huge success of our dispensary and unprecedented growth of the industry, we are not being paid livable wages. It is concerning to us that Potomac Holistics' owner insists on starting budtenders at minimum wage, offers no paid time off, and has few opportunities for advancement. While the business has significant profits, many of us work several jobs to make ends meet.

We care for our patients and coworkers, and we love working in the cannabis industry. We are unionizing to secure livable wages and benefits that will make this career one we can grow and invest in.

In order to win our union, we need your help.

We have the support of the vast majority of workers at the store. Owner Bill Askinazi could recognize our union and start negotiating a fair contract with us. Instead, he flew here from his home in Florida and has tried everything he can to intimidate us and stop us from unionizing.

Help us show that Potomac Holistics patients and community members have our backs! Sign our petition to Potomac Holistics owner Bill Askinazi and tell him to stop interfering in our free and fair union election.
