Donald Trump broke decades of bipartisan precedent by refusing to release his tax returns during his presidential runs -- and by not placing his assets in a blind trust after he won in 2016.

And according to the New York Times, Trump’s tax records reveal that he has relied heavily on profits from his hotels and other properties -- where foreign diplomats, Republican lawmakers, and lobbyists have often stayed over the past few years to curry favor with the president. [1]

If Trump continues to conceal his tax returns -- Americans will remain completely in the dark about these potential conflicts of interest and violations of our Constitution (which forbids presidents from profiting off of the office).

That's why we’re calling on Trump to release his tax returns dating back several years for public scrutiny. He is conducting the people’s business from the highest office in the land -- so we deserve to see how he has conducted his private business, too.
