Protect the Results - Count Every Vote

With every tweet and refusal to commit to accepting the legitimate results of the 2020 election, President Trump seeks to stoke chaos and fear.

But we will be ready - if Trump tries to steal the election or prevent every vote from being counted, the Protect the Results will activate nationwide mobilizations to demand that all the votes are counted and for the peaceful transition of power.

In light of COVID-19 transmission concerns, we will not have a paper petition and shared pens at our Doylestown, PA Protect the results event. Instead we ask attendees to sign onto this petition, so that we may deliver this digital petition to Pennsylvania state leaders, just as we would a paper petition in more normal times.

We, the undersigned, attended the Protect the Results demonstration on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Doylestown Administrative Building in Bucks County.

We came together and joined our voices as one, in support of the idea that every vote counts, and every vote must be counted. We believe that free and fair elections are integral to the foundation of our nation, and that any attempt by partisans to meddle in the vote tabulation process after our ballots have been cast is a threat to the democracy we cherish.

Further, we believe that it is imperative that the electors selected by our Commonwealth must reflect the will of the people, as reflected by the ballots cast in this election. Those ballots, whether they have been sent in by mail, submitted by dropbox, placed absentee, or cast in person, should be treated equally by our Boards of Election as well as the members of our Legislature.

We believe in democracy.
We believe that our votes are our voice.
We believe that every vote counts.
And we WILL PROTECT THE RESULTS.
