Real Appreciation is a Strong Union Contract for Hopewell Employees

Mark Bridenbaugh - Chief Executive Officer of Hopewell Health Centers (Athens, OH)

March is Social Worker Appreciation Month, and while AFSCME Ohio Council 8 celebrates all of our members who dedicate themselves to the well being and social welfare of our communities, we know the truest way to honor these hardworking dedicated professionals is a fair union contract.
Hopewell Social Workers, Counselors, and other dedicated mental health professionals need your help. These brave employees won their union, but have not been able to negotiate a fair and equitable union contract.

Please join us in calling Hopewell administration and the board of directors to the table and bargain with their employees to negotiate a fair contract now. We can all agree that the greatest way to show your employees they are appreciated is to treat them with respect, listen to their voices and ideas, and pay them a wage and benefits package they deserve.

Hopewell administration, come negotiate a fair contract now and show you respect your employees as people and not just dollar signs.

Dear Hopewell Administration,

I am joining other members of my community and Hopewell employees who are demanding that the administration come to the table and bargain a fair contract now. I understand that Hopewell employees voted for their several months ago. It does not make sense that the administration has not been able to negotiate a fair contract honoring the work and dedication these employees have towards the clients they serve.

March is Social Worker Appreciation Month, as a concerned supporter of Hopewell Workers United, the only way to show you truly appreciate your employees is to negotiate a fair union contract NOW!
