Days after the incident, workers continued working with the machine that had not been cleaned or shut down after the worker lost her finger, exposing an unknown number of workers to potential bloodborne pathogens.
After raising these concerns, Stephen was wrongly terminated by the General Manager who refused to address safety concerns! Stephen raised concerns about bloodborne pathogens and the location of the missing finger piece after management did not stop production to properly clean the facility.
