Remove SeaWorld's Float from the Macy's Day Parade!

Watching Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a tradition among hundreds of thousands of families in America during the holiday's. SeaWorld is set to have their own “Waves of Conservation” float in Macy’s Day Parade for a second year in a row. We are petitioning Macy's, Inc. asking them to please not include SeaWorld's float in their parade and to consider researching different points of view.
Dolphins and whales are free ranging, social, sonic, and highly intelligent marine mammals. The vastness and biological diversity of the open sea, in which dolphins and other whales have developed over more than 50 million years, cannot be duplicated in a tank at a marine park facility.
SeaWorld confines dolphins and whales to small, sterile spaces. With little to no stimulation and insufficient space to roam, it is far removed from their natural environment. Dolphins and whales kept in captivity are known to suffer from stress-related health issues and illnesses. Hundreds of animals have died premature deaths in SeaWorld's care. Confining these animals to lives in tanks is cruel and unnatural.
It is safe to say that SeaWorld has no place in a family-friendly traditional event such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Please join us in asking Macy's to remove SeaWorld's float from their parade!

Please view these informative documentaries and re-evaluate including SeaWorld's float in your event. It is safe to say that SeaWorld has no place in a family-friendly traditional event such as your Parade.
