Wednesday’s angry mob and their vile threats on our democracy were incited by some of our own elected representatives -- including state Senator Doug Mastriano, who not only shamelessly attended and spoke at the rally sparking the insurrection, but also organized a bus to take other partisan extremists to the Capitol.
He has repeatedly attempted to subvert the will of the people, both by inviting partisan agitators to Pennsylvania to question our election results and participating in Wednesday’s anti-democracy rampage himself -- all in a desperate attempt to hold onto power after losing a legitimate election.
Common Cause Pennsylvania is calling for the immediate resignation of state Senator Doug Mastriano, who aided and abetted this attack on our democratic process. Will you join us?
