The EPA sets and enforces standards to limit toxic and harmful pollution like mercury, soot, lead, and ‘forever chemicals’ from getting into our air and water. The EPA also works to clean up toxic pollution in the communities most impacted. Slashing EPA funding and staffing by 65% as Lee Zeldin has announced will harm children, seniors, and everyone else by exposing people to more dangerous and deadly pollution. Protect our air, water, climate and the EPA, and don’t give polluters a free pass to wreck our health and climate.
