Save the Number 4 Bus

Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London

The Conservative Government is playing politics with London's finances. They've starved TfL of much needed money and now we're facing dramatic cuts to bus services.

The Number 4 is an important bus service. It connects Archway, Tufnell Park, Finsbury Park, Highbury, Upper Street and the City of London. TfL's proposals would scrap this bus and replace parts of the route with other services.

This will impact many Islington residents. People will find it harder to get to work, to see family and friends and to access services. These cuts have to be scrapped.

We're calling on TfL not to scrap the 4 bus. Ending the service will make it much harder for many people to get around.

It will leave Tufnell Park residents relying on a single decker and less frequent 236 bus. It will leave Highbury residents with fewer buses to make their journeys. It will reduce connectivity with stations like Archway, Tufnell Park, Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington.

We're calling on the Mayor to work with Islington Council to find alternatives to these cuts.
