Governor Newsom: Bring $11 billion to California schools and communities!

Governor Gavin Newsom

It's time we reFUND $11 billion to our schools and communities.

Teachers across the state have gone on strike to demand more money for education while corporations have stolen billions by exploiting property tax loopholes. It’s time to invest in our future by holding corporations accountable for what they owe us.

Schools and Communities First would reclaim $11 billion every year for our schools and communities so we can have better teacher pay, smaller classes and more resources and programs.

Sign the petition to call on Governor Newsom to support the historic Schools & Communities First 2020 initiative which would bring $11 billion to our schools and local communities.

Paid for by Schools and Communities First Sponsored by a Coalition of Social Justice Organizations Representing Families and Students.

For 40 years, California schools and communities have gone without the funding they need. Thousands of Californians are joining the movement to bring $11 billion to our schools and communities by ensuring that millionaires and corporations pay what they owe.

We're ready for a new legacy for our state. Stand with teachers, students and Californians and in support of the Schools & Communities First 2020 initiative.
