Republicans are sore losers.

Democrats have enacted a number of significant pieces of legislation, executive orders, and through federal agencies'a lot of great rules.

Now, Republicans want to use crafty legislative maneuvers to undo all of this hard work by attaching ideological riders to an appropriations bill. Riders are controversial measures added to bills. Most riders wouldn't pass on their own, so they are stuck onto other pieces of legislation.

In the upcoming appropriations bill there are over 300 riders these include attacks on Planned Parenthood funding, net neutrality, workers rights, environmental standards, newly implemented banking reforms, public health, the social safety net, and any other issue important to Democrats.

Democrats have stated they will not vote for an appropriations bill with these ideologic riders. We need to show them the American public supports this position to strengthen their resolve in negotiations.
