Our immigration system was broken before Donald Trump became President. But his administration has weaponized it by closing down ports of entry and forcing people seeking amnesty to cross deserts and rivers―sometimes with deadly results.

I can’t believe I’m about to quote Jeb f***ing Bush, but he was right: Immigration is an act of love. Many immigrants risk their lives based on their love for what America represents to them. What could be more patriotic? Yet right now, our country is throwing immigrants in overcrowded camps, where they are forced to drink from the toilet.

Stand with immigrants: Tell Congress to take action to close the camps and enact legislation that respects the basic humanity of immigrants!
