All Members of Congress and 2018 Congressional Candidates

Thanks to you, momentum is building to improve Medicare and expand it to cover all Americans. Our work, along with the efforts of leaders like Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and Rep. Keith Ellison, has congressional support at an all-time high. And in 2018, in Congressional races across the country, many Democrats are running on this issue, eager to create a majority that will finally ensure that in America, health care is a right.

But with all the progress we make, the same forces that have fought universal health care for decades, led by Paul Ryan, will fight tooth and nail to protect the corporate handouts that keep Americans paying the highest price in the world for health care--and that includes protecting pharmaceutical corporations who keep drug prices astronomically high. That’s why we need to make sure that the fight for Medicare for All includes fighting to lower drug prices.

In a country where one in five Americans--and half of all seniors--don’t take their prescription drugs as prescribed because the prices are too high, this is a fight we need to win.

Sign the petition telling all elected officials and candidates for Congress to improve Medicare and expand it to cover all Americans, hold the greedy pharmaceutical industry accountable and lower drug prices!

Even as public opinion continues to move toward a Medicare for All system that ensures health care as a right, not a privilege, there are those in Washington who demonize Medicare for All, telling us that it’s unaffordable. But what if Medicare for All also lowered drug prices? We call on all elected officials in Washington and all candidates for Congress to link Medicare for All and lower drug prices. When we do, we’ll be able to cover every single American while holding the greedy pharmaceutical industry accountable.
