Corinthian College was a for-profit "university" with ties to Republican politicians. Three years after it shut down (after being investigated and fined for predatory and fraudulent loan practices), students are now left with mountains of debt handled by the U.S. Department of Education.

After spending a whole year not helping a single defrauded student, Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos now has a "plan" for Corinthian College students. Their debts will be approved (or rejected) on an income-based sliding scale, based on private data that she improperly accessed from the Social Security Administration.

A judge has already ruled against that. Corinthian College defrauded students by giving them a useless degree, and the only reasonable solution is for the U.S. Department of Education to forgive 100% of student loan debts. No one who attended should be left holding the bag.

No one who attended Corinthian College should be left holding the bag. It was a useless degree where students were defrauded. Please forgive all federal loan debt.
