Sign the Petition: Stop corporations from stashing profits offshore
Right now, multinational corporations owe $750 billion in U.S. taxes on $2.6 trillion in profits stashed offshore. These businesses are skirting their patriotic duty and robbing American taxpayers of billions of dollars―money needed to improve our roads and schools and support medical research, food assistance for hungry children, job training and much more.
Now, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and Representative Lloyd Doggett have introduced two bills that fight offshoring and profit shifting to tax havens and encourage corporations to keep jobs and profits here at home.
Sign the petition: Demand that Congress pass the Stop Tax Haven Abuse Act and the Corporate EXIT Fairness Act, which close offshore tax loopholes, expose illegal tax evasion, and block corporate inversions where a company changes its legal address to a tax haven, but doesn’t actually move there, to dodge paying its fair share in taxes.

The American people and Main Street businesses pay their fair share of taxes. So should Wall Street and multinational corporations. We call on you to pass the Stop Tax Haven Abuse Act and the Corporate EXIT Fairness Act to close offshore tax loopholes, expose illegal tax evasion, and block corporate inversions. It’s time for large profitable corporations to perform their patriotic duty and pay their fair share of taxes.
