Roseanne Barr plays a Trump supporter on the reboot of her old sitcom, but it's what the real Roseanne does that should disturb ABC executives.

In a morning tweet on May 29, she mixed wacky conspiracy theories with vile racism—as she referred to former Obama White House adviser Valerie Jarrett as an "ape."

When confronted about her racist tweet, Roseanne attempted to brush it off as a joke—but racism is no laughing matter. And ABC has no business promoting a celebrity who fails to understand the severity of her actions.

Roseanne has since apologized–but it's too little, too late. ABC needs to answer whether it's going to continue running the show.
