It’s time for Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Secretary Scott Pruitt to resign.

Since he began his role at the EPA, Secretary Pruitt has been embroiled in countless controversies, scandals, and ethical dilemmas.

In just the past few days, Pruitt has been in hot water for questionably renting a Capitol Hill condo and helping to secure MASSIVE, federal-law-violating raises for his two favorite aides. His team even looked into leasing a private jet for Pruitt to the tune of $100,000 per month.

Pruitt’s obsession with manipulating government money for his own lavish benefit doesn’t end there, though: among other things, he took his top aides on a vacation to Morocco (where he promoted fracking), spent $120,000 on a trip to Rome that included a private tour of the Vatican, and dropped $14,000 on a trip to Oklahoma.

Pruitt also has his own floor all for himself at the EPA, 30 personal bodyguards, and a soundproof booth in his office.

We could go on, but if we took the time to detail each and every one of Scott Pruitt’s lies and scandals, we’d be here all night.

The EPA deserves a leader who cares deeply about protecting and preserving the environment. Scott Pruitt is not that person—and it’s time for him to go.
