Congress
Life’s most personal decisions – such as when to become a parent – should be left personal. For far too long, politicians have interfered in reproductive health decisions.
Elected leaders should not be able to dictate our reproductive healthcare access by banning insurance coverage for abortion care.
Democrats have introduced the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Woman Act in the House and Senate. The bill ensures health coverage of abortion for everyone regardless of what you earn or where you live. It also prohibits political interference with decisions of private health insurance companies to offer coverage for abortion care. Federal, state and local legislators will not be able to interfere with the private insurance market to prevent insurance companies from providing abortion coverage.
No one should ever be denied critical reproductive health services, including safe and legal abortion, simply because their health insurance cannot cover their care.
For more than four decades, politicians have pushed abortion out of reach for poor women, young folks, and people of color through the Hyde Amendment. Restrictions on abortion coverage fall hardest on low-income people, women of color, immigrants, transgender people, and young people.
Tell your elected officials to end the coverage bans on abortion – once and for all.

I'm calling on you today as one of your constituents.
For more than four decades, politicians have pushed abortion out of reach for poor women, young folks, and people of color through the Hyde Amendment. When a woman wants to get an abortion but is denied, she is more likely to fall into poverty.
No one should be denied coverage for abortion just because they're poor. Each of us should be able to live, work, and make decisions about our health and our future with dignity and economic security.
I am asking you to END insurance coverage bans on abortion, including the Hyde Amendment.
