Dear Richard Davis, CEO of US Bank, & Tom Morano, CEO of GMAC/ResCap: Please stop your attempts to evict Jacqueline Barber and her family from their house at 160 Stearman Road in Fayetteville, GA. Negotiate a deal to keep them in their home!
20-year Atlanta Police Department veteran. Grandmother of four. Car crash survivor. Bone cancer patient. Foreclosure fraud victim. And now, home occupier. Jacqueline Barber is all those things, but most importantly, she’s a fighter. And right now she’s fighting for her home.
That’s why, facing an eviction battle that could start at any moment, she’s already standing up and telling everyone she won’t go. This past week in her hometown of Fayetteville, GA, a quiet suburb just south of Atlanta, the Home Defenders League and Occupy Our Homes Atlanta joined with retired police officers, family members, and supporters to set up tents and hang banners in front of her Jacqueline’s home. Everyone came to stand with her as she vowed not to leave her home.
She needs you to stand with her too. Sign to the petition to US Bank and GMAC, the investor in and servicer of her loan, telling them to stop attempting to evict the Barbers and work out a deal to let them stay in their home.
