Starvation should not be used as a weapon. We can stop a famine from happening.

Members of Congress, President Biden, and Vice-President Harris

We can stop a famine in GAZA

Because no progress has been made on returning the hostages to Israel, and there is a growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza with a famine happening, we are calling for a cease-fire and a pathway to a two-state solution.

On the Senate floor recently, leader Schumer made the statement: "But the bitter reality is that a single state controlled by Israel, which they advocate, guarantees certain war forever, and further isolation of the Jewish community in the world to the extent that its future would be jeopardized."

There can be no question that xenophobia, islamophobia, and antisemitism can not be tolerated ever. The demand for the return for hostages must not stop. Hatred and terrorism should find no welcome in any community. We must roll up our sleeves and work to make change happen.

Can you take 1 (one) minute and sign on to this petition to Congress, President Biden, and Vice-President Harris to condition aid to Israel, push for a cease-fire, and support a two-state solution?

Dear Member of Congress, President Biden, and Vice-President Harris,

As a member of People Power United and as your constituent, I am writing to ask that you support conditioning aid to Israel, push for a cease-fire in the Israel/Hamas war, and support a two-state solution.

Starvation should never be used as a weapon, and I ask that you, as my representative, speak up and advocate for the end of the famine happening in Gaza.

Every day the United States funds and arms Israel without accountability is another day our nation is complicit in the deaths of thousands of innocent women and children in Gaza.

We can not look away.

Let's also acknowledge that Israel has absolutely the right to defend their borders and seek out the Hamas terrorists who killed and kidnapped their citizens. Israel has no right to commit human rights abuses or war crimes.

I look forward to your response, letting me know what you will do on this issue.

Sincerely, Â
